Solar PV - Business
We have been installing solar PV systems for 20 years and have installed tens of thousands of solar PV modules on all types of buildings across the UK.
We are proud of our heritage and widely recognised for our expertise ... as can be demonstrated by some of the high profile projects we were chosen to install - such as the solar PV systems on Kings Cross and Paddington Stations in London, and the PV arrays for the the London 2112 Olympic site.
Big or small - it makes sense
Whether you want a small solar array on a village hall or a larger system on a farm shed roof - solar makes excellent sense and can provide a healthy rate of return. We are proud of all our systems - and focus on giving the same degree of care and attention to all our projects - big or small: from a school in Cumbria to a railway station in London
King's Cross Station London - this landmark 250kWp PV installation utilises architectural PV glazing modules. Sundog Energy was selected to deliver the installation because of our proven technical excellence and experience.
Olympics Park, London – Sundog Energy was selected by the ODA as the exclusive contractor for the solar PV installations at the Olympic Park.
Thomas Graham - Carlisle- a 221kW solar PV system installed onto a new warehouse roof; the system features 884 solar PV modules and was installed over a 4 week period
Durham County Council - 408kWp across 27 separate commercial scale sites - up to 50 kWp each within the three months prior to the April 2012 FiT ‘deadline’. Sundog Energy was selected on the basis of our ability to deliver this project under extreme time pressure, and our highly competitive pricing.
Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre (Sheffield) - a 100kWp installation for Hermes Group - over three roof areas including the flat roof of the Marks & Spencer store.
East Lothian Council - 250 kWp across five commercial buildings including key buildings open to the public such as Musselburgh Racecourse and Dunbar Leisure Centre
Leeds Crown Courts - This is a ballasted system located on two separate areas of an elevated flat roof and the aesthetics of the installation from ground level and the roof surface were key sensitivities.
Bradford Cathedral - 9.9kWp – believed to be the UK's first solar powered cathedral!
