Play Centre, Lockerbie
This system utelises bespoke PV glazing units. Often termed “glass-glass PV” as the PV cells are laminated between two sheets of clear glass. The modules were designed to suit the glazing apertures and with a PV cell quantity and spacing set to ensure the desired amount of sunlight reaches the building’s interior.
Leicester Schools
Sundog Energy has been working closely with Leicester City Council to provide PV systems on school roofs across the city. Systems include web accessible data logging - to monitor system performance and provide an online teaching resource. Installations include flat roof, integrated and above roof PV arrays.
London Transport Musuem
Situated in Covent Garden, the grade II listed building is a former Victorian flower market. This scheme involved the installation of PV systems to the Museum’s roof as part of a major redevelopment project. The Museum’s PV system was the first in a series of flagship schemes supported by the London Climate Change Agency. Technology: Redland PV800 PV tiles and BP Solar modules. System size: 51.5kWp.

Harrowside Solarium
The Solarium is a 1938 Art Deco style building on Blackpool seafront. As part of a major renovation of the building, Sundog Energy provided a bespoke glass-glass PV array to the main roof and corridors. This was augmented by two wind turbines installed either side of the main entrance. Technology: bespoke PV glazing units and Proven 6kW turbines. System size: 27kWp

Lido - Roof Mounted Wind Turbines
These two turbines are situated on the roof of the Lido, an office space close to Blackpool sea front. This newbuild project was designed and engineered to accommodate roof mounted wind turbines and features a gently sloping roof leading off in the direction of the prevailing wind. Technology: Proven 2.5kW wind turbines. System size: 5kW.
