Sundog SunBank PV kits

Kits that are easy to stock and install

Why buy a Sunbank™ kit?

There is a bewildering choice of components for PV systems, and many hundreds of potential configurations. The consequences of using the wrong component or a poor configuration will at best affect the overall system performance, and at worst, can create excessive costs, maintenance problems downstream, give you a poor track record or even create fire hazards.

Sundog™ Sunbank™ PV kits come complete with all the parts needed for trouble free and reliable installations.

Sundog PV Kits are the only sensible choice, as our configuration management gives you peace of mind that the kits you will be installing have been designed, tested and utilises Sundog’s technical expertise. Having a configuration with balanced inverter, panels, meters, cables, connectors, switches and mountings, and crucially, with an excellent set of instruction means you can be confident. In short – PV systems are complicated and very fertile ground for getting it wrong, and getting it wrong has significant consequences. Our kits make it easy for you to install PV systems.

To select your system, you could choose a your own collection of components based on 'lowest price' in the hope that they would be a great combination. Sadly, this won’t do. Or you could buy a pre-packed system from someone who doesn’t have fifteen years of experience installing PV systems. Whilst electrical wholesalers generally get good buying terms, they just don’t know how to get the optimum mix from an installation and operational point of view.

Sundog kits comprise modules, inverters and all other components which have been selected by Sundog to provide ideal electrical matching and straightforward installation to meet current UK standards and regulations. We have strict criteria for sourcing our components, and you can take advantage of our years of buying and matching experience.

We know the difference between a collection of components and a PV system

It’s a competitive market, and there are dealers who will sell you anything, but low cost, cheap components is all they can offer.  Sundog have a long established team of specialist PV installers who are totally committed to technically excellent PV systems and know the difference between a collection of components and a PV system.

And it doesn’t stop there as we also provide clear instructions, warranties over the components, and can provide know-how and technical support.  Fifteen years of installation have taught us  that it is vital to get this right, as we rely on a track record of high quality installations to continue to win complex and technically demanding jobs.  We therefore know that it’s vital for you to get your installations right as well, and we can make sure you are getting the best available configuration whilst you can concentrate on building your PV business.
