Prestigious win for Sundog Managing Director

Sundog Energy founder and Managing Director Martin Cotterell has scooped a prestigious Institute of Directors North West prize

as Cumbria Director of the Year 2009. The Award Ceremony, which celebrates the achievements of the best and most dynamic directors in the region, took place at Manchester’s Hilton Hotel."This award reflects the hard work of the whole Sundog Energy team", Martin said. "2009 has been a challenging but fruitful year for us and we are excited about the future. People are really starting to recognise the importance of renewable energy and the fact that solar PV and wind energy can help to save money on electricity bills as well as reducing carbon emissions. With the Feed In Tariff coming on stream in April 2010, people who generate their own electricity will get an enhanced level of payment for it, which will make the pay-back time for solar PV and wind installations much shorter than before."
