Solar PV experts Sundog expand staff numbers by 70%
Soaring demand for Sundog’s solar PV products and services fuels company’s rapid growth
Sundog Energy has appointed 16 new staff in the last 2 months, with a further 6 due to start in November 2011. The company’s growth is in response to the soaring demand for its solar PV products, systems and services. While the new posts are all based at Sundog’s Cumbria headquarters, the company is expanding its capacity in the Borders and South Lakes areas and also confirmed the opening of two new regional operations - one in the South West and one in the North East.
Established in 1995, Sundog Energy has grown steadily to become the region’s most experienced and successful solar PV company and one of the few independent operators of its size in the UK. Sundog has installed many hundreds of solar PV systems all over the UK, in the private, commercial and public sectors, with recent projects ranging from small domestic systems to multiple new build housing projects and some of the largest commercial and public sector projects in the country.
According to founder and Chairman Martin Cotterell, “ The success of Sundog over the past few years is nothing short of phenominal! We’ve seen major growth across all sectors – from domestic installations on Cumbrian homes to farm systems and large commercial buildings, and also in our wholesale operations. Our success is testimony to the uncompromising quality of the projects we deliver and the service we provide. This is, and always will be, the ethos of Sundog Energy and is something we take very seriously when selecting new staff.”
