How do turbines work?
Turbine blades capture the energy in the wind causing them to rotate. This rotational energy is converted into electrical energy by use of an electrical generator housed in the turbine head.
A variety of different turbines are supplied by Sundog energy. However, they all share common design features: a robust design to survive the full range of UK wind conditions; constructed using highly durable and weather resistant components; a mechanical rotor / head design to enable the turbine to stall / furl in high wind conditions.
